Austraila

‘Put another shrimp on the Barbie’ ‘I come from the land down under’ These are both quotes people think about in relation to where we will visit this week which is Australia but I am going to Sydney which is not its capital but it has many things to do.

These graphs show that Australia gets pretty good weather all year round but remember that in Australia they have their hottest times of year in our winter time.

As you can see Sydney looks beautiful and there are many things to do here like:
1.       Sydney Opera House
2.       Bondi Beach
3.       Darling harbour
4.       And many museums

These things can cater to anybody’s needs and wants. You can get a tan, Listen to music or go to a history museum. There is fun for the whole family as there is also Taronga zoo, wild life Sydney zoo and Luna park Sydney. The kids can go look at animals or have fun at an old style amusement park and even though these are aimed for kids I can’t see why adults wouldn’t love looking at some baby Kuala or risking their life on a roller coaster. Most peoples image of Australia is all its wild life so why not go and see it.

If you are looking for a more foreign place but don’t want that language barrier Australian is a good place to go they have unique culture, animals and way of life yet they speak English which helps you enjoy the experience more.

Hope this was helpful
Comment any questions you may have and I will try to help.

New York

The big apple, the place little girls dream of living when their older or well I know I did. New York is the home of many great shopping venues and also a lot of culture and history.

New York is one place that has very definite seasons hot summers and below 0 winters. The summer sun is beautiful I know but in winter New York is like a wonder land with big trees and skating in the park if you ask someone to describe a winter wonderland city they would describe New York.

In New York you can obviously shop till your heart or wallets drops but I’m going to tell you what else there is too do in New York. There’s the history of Ellis Island and it would be interesting if you are American or even if you aren’t to see if any of your relatives immigrate and passed through Ellis Island. Nobody knows what you can discover there.

When you think of New York and the symbol of America you think of the statue of liberty and yes this is an amazing thing to go see but did you k now the statue was given to America by the people of France.

Other than the two above here are three things you must try and do while in New York:

1. Empire state building

2. A Broadway musical

3. Central park

As always don’t worry if you have little ones who you have to drag along on your trip there is plenty for them to do too. There is a toy fair every year and also massive toy shops like FAO Schwarz, New York City, USA. It is huge and although your kids might spend all your money they will have a field day running round there. The Toys ‘R’ Us, New York City has a Ferris wheel check it out http://www.toysrusinc.com/about-us/times-square/feature-shops-and-attractions/ I’m a teenager and I wanted to go here.

A video from the ellis island website called 'Deconstructing Ellis Island'
So New York is the place to be it seems.

Hope you enjoyed

Paris

Paris
Ahh Paris, the beautiful city of love. Paris is the must do city of romance yet don’t worry if you are single or don’t have that special someone who you want to bring, you can still enjoy its sites and culture.
It is clear that France has much better weather then that of Ireland yet it doesn’t get too hot so you won’t feel like a fish frying on the barbeque. You can go for a weekend city break and many sites offer an all-inclusive package for this. There are also weeklong site holidays or take the kids down to Disney land for loads of fun for the whole family. If you just want to spend a week relaxing don’t worry you can rent a little chalet and spend a week relaxing with a beautiful view.
Of course if you are going to Paris there are certain things you must go to and see here are the top 5 things I would recommend seeing on your holiday:
1.  Eifel Tower
2.  Musee du Louvre
3.  Arc de Triomphe
4.  Notre Dame Cathedral
5.  Boat Tour of the Seine River
These are just some of the most iconic and breath taking places to see in Paris. The last time I was in Paris I spent two weeks inside the walls of Disney land having the time of my life so this would definitely be a place I recommend going yet it does deprive you of the French culture as most people there are not French, this would be for more of a kids holiday although I cannot say adults would not enjoy it.
So this is just a quick overview of what could be in store for you if you decide to holiday in Paris with their many tourist attractions you will not be without something to do.

Ireland

Now of course being an Irish girl myself I had to do Ireland as my first beautiful country to visit.

As you can see in the graphs ireland does not have the best weather yet the views of the lands are to die for and these I believe outway the weather.
There are many things to go to and see in Ireland from the political history in Dublin city or the agriculture in cork and if you happen to catch are few days of summer there are the most beautiful beaches to get a little tan.
I recently went and a tour round Dublin city and some of the things we discovered were fascinating. There is the gaiety theatre with all the best pantomimes and plays. There are tall boats and famine memorials which are perfect for any want to be historians. There is also a beautiful fresh doughnut place on O’Connell Street and as much shopping a girl could need. There is something for everyone in Dublin.
If the city scene is not the place for you then don’t shy away from Ireland just move your search to somewhere like Cork. There are many small villages there you can stay in that are very calm and quite. You can do many beautiful walks with amazing views and they also have beaches with water sports for the younger members of the family. Small villages are the perfect place for quite family holidays.
So hopefully I have given you enough info that you can decide whether Ireland is the place for you but if you have any others queries I strongly recommend that you check out discover Ireland the link is below it has things to do and places to stay or you can leave a comment and I will try help.
